The Story
When high-profile activist group Invisible Children launched The Rescue last year to raise awareness of Uganda’s child soldiers, we answered the call by offering Ugandan coffee and donating 100% of the profits to the organization. We didn’t have Ugandan beans, but a relationship with importers Crop To Cup became an avenue for high-quality coffee from families they know and trust. It was a beautiful picture of what coffee can do: connecting Uganda to Chicago back to Uganda. Indigenous farmers were helping their own children. We just roasted the beans.

This year, we've partnered again with Crop to Cup to bring in more great coffee from Uganda - this time from the region of Kapchorwa.
